Unforgettable Batu Caves: Half-Day Rock Climbing Thrill

I had an awesome experience climbing with the wonderful Ky from Mir Adventures. Booking was easy, Eddie was really responsive and gave great advice on which trip to book based on my climbing experience. The climb at Kura Kura was so beautiful and so much fun, each pitch was different and the limestone was great to climb on. Ky was a great guide, I was very impressed by the safety measures & his encouraging ways of leading. I would 100% recommend this trip and would definitely return.

Eddie and Johnny were great! Both my husband and I have prior climbing experience, and they did a great job of picking routes we'd find fun and interesting! It was a very fun way to pass the morning before visiting Batu Caves. Eddie was kind enough to give us a lift after :)

I had a great time with the half day guided rock climbing! The guide, Peng (not sure i spelled it right) set up 4 easy top rope routes and then let me lead a couple routes once he found out I had experience with outdoor climbing. He was super nice and friendly and we talked a bit about climbing in the area. Afterwards he dropped me off at the nearby Batu Caves. 10/10 would recommend!

This was my first time trying outdoor rock climbing, but thanks to the careful and reassuring support from Eddy and KY, I was able to enjoy it to the fullest. The guides were very accommodating for beginners, providing thorough support during the climb, yet the route was challenging enough to feel a great sense of accomplishment upon reaching the top. The surrounding scenery was breathtaking, and the texture of the rocks and the experience of climbing in nature were a unique and unforgettable experience that cannot be replicated in a gym. I highly recommend this experience to anyone, especially first-timers. I can’t wait to go back and climb again!

Excellent experience. I didn’t have any experience before and really enjoyed learning. Small group, very safe and explained well: great value for money. Overall highly recommend this fabulous experience.

We extended our halfday to fullday. Our guides in the morning were Eddie, KY and Johnny. They were all very patient and good belayers. We had a mixed group of climbers in the morning and they could adjust effortlessly, accordingly to different abilities. I felt confident climbing with them belaying me. Special mention to KY who belayed and trusted that I could do more difficult climbs than I thought I could. :) I am glad I did my first ever outdoor climb with MIR. Hope to come climb again soon!

They have friendly guides who were fun to talk with. Communication was easy via text, email or WhatsApp. Reliable guides.

Eddie was super patient with us! Great experience and amazing sights. They do have beginner routes, but I’d recommend getting ready to not feel your arms.

Batu Caves climbing with Eddy as first-time outdoor climber is really excellent. He ensured everything is safe, gears are in good condition and properly maintained. Very responsible and attentive. Will definitely engage him again for our outdoor climb. He is also patient and encouraging to children, made our daughter more confident to start her first outdoor climbing. Very recommended.
